Who We Are
New City started in a living room in 2017, just 8 people with a shared hope: to be a home for the unchurched, the curious, and anyone new to the city.
From there, small groups began to grow across Delhi. In 2018, we launched our first Sunday gathering and after moving around in a couple of locations, we moved into Hauz Khas village, an unexpected place for a church, full of history and life.
Today, we still meet on Sundays to worship, and in homes and cafés across the city during the week.
We’re far from perfect, but we’re trying to live out the gospel with open hearts, real love, and a deep desire to grow as one gospel centered family.
Why We Show Up
We show up because the gospel gives us purpose and freedom.
Because we believe Jesus is still at work- healing, restoring, renewing.
Because we want to live meaningful lives- not just busy ones.
Because doing life in community is better than doing it alone.
What Matters to Us
Gospel Centered
It’s the heartbeat of everything we do. It reminds us that we’re loved not because we’ve earned it, but because of grace.

We want to love people sincerely- to listen, to welcome, and to walk with each other through all seasons.

No matter your background or beliefs, we believe God can knit together a family out of unlikely people
City Positive
Delhi can be intense but we believe it’s worth loving. We want to bring light, peace, and hope into our neighbourhoods, campuses, workplaces, and beyond.

Ranjit and Deepa are passionate about working with young professionals in Delhi, using their gifts, teaching from God’s word, and having an open home. Coming from an Engineering background, Ranjit has been in Pastoral Ministry for the last 10 years in various settings. His training from Dallas Theological Seminary and Redeemer City to City has equipped him to serve strategically in an urban context. Deepa has a heart to disciple young girls, serve the marginalized, and extend hospitality to anyone anytime.
